The Great Music Hunt
It all started with the burning desire to listen to Damien Rice's The Blower's Daughter. Scoured the vast expanse of cyberspace for some songs I liked back in the 90s and I managed to get my hands on a rock classic - Silent Lucidity by Queensryche, both the studio and live versions.
Hush now don’t cry
Wipe away the teardrop from your eye
You’re lying safe in bed
It was all a bad dream
Spinning in your head
Your mind tricked you to feel the pain
Of someone close to you leaving the game of life
So here it is, another chance
Wide awake you face the day
Your dream is over...or has it just begun?
However, I did not manage to get Caravan by the Inspiral Carpets. Darn! And I have this nagging feeling that the two big record stores here will not carry this single. :(
